I was the art director for the South African series, I also did the graphic design work and managed to feature paintings of mine in the serie
Graphic design
I was the South African graphic designer for the series. Key sets I created designs for was the Hell set where I conceptualized and deigned posters for the set with neil gaiman writing the copy. The other key work I designed was for the 'African village' set where I conceptualized and designed these alcohol labels. The 'African village' scene was not chosen not to be apart of the series due to the fact that that of civil war breaks out in the scene and viewers could get upset.
I was head hunted to do the murals, sign writing and graffiti for the series which was shot in Cape Town. They chose me due to the fact that my style suited the visual language of the 'Noughts'. The main key work I did was the mural shown above as it was used as a hero shot.
